Higher Education & Workforce

Brownwood has access to quality higher education through Howard Payne University, Ranger College, and Texas State Technical College - Brownwood. These schools produce a number of highly educated and skilled graduates each year who are ready to enter the workforce. Both HPU and TSTC-Brownwood work with local businesses, assisting in employee recruitment and workforce training. Additionally, there are two colleges and four universities within 50 miles of Brownwood.
